Jury Duty Leave for Employees in West Virginia


West Virginia law provides that it is unlawful to terminate or threaten to terminate or decrease the regular compensation of employment of an employee for the time the employee was away from work because of jury duty.

Paid time off. Employees need not be paid for lost time.

Antidiscrimination provisions. It is unlawful to discriminate against an employee because of jury duty.
