Paying Terminated Employees in New Mexico

In New Mexico, discharged workers must be paid within five days when wages are definite in amount and within 10 days in other cases. In case of failure to pay as required, wages continue at the employee's regular rate of pay until paid, to be recovered by suit within 60 days. Employees who quit and strikers must be paid next regular payday.
