Paying Terminated Employees in North Dakota
In North Dakota, wages due discharged employees must be paid within 15 days or at the next payday, whichever occurs first, by certified mail. Strikers and resigned employees must be paid no later than the next regular payday. The law providing that employees who quit their jobs under contract are entitled to pay up to the time they quit extends to employees who are discharged for good cause.
